Jimmy Hunt was born on December 4, 1939 in Los Angeles, California, as James Walter Hunt. Jimmy will always be remembered as the son in the creepy 1953 film Invaders from Mars, whose father is embedded with a mind controlling probe.

1948 thrillers seemed to find him... In that year he played Ann Richard's son in Sorry, Wrong Number and Dick Powell's son in Pitfall. But Hollywood family comedies soon had a scene steal-er when he played a mischievous boy in: Rusty's Birthday (1949), Cheaper by the Dozen (1950), Her First Romance (1951) and Week-End with Father < (1951).

He is the only actor to appear in both Invaders from Mars (1953) and its remake Invaders from Mars (1986).

He has been married to Roswitha T. Jager since January 26, 1963. They have three children.
