Sam Treskunov was born in Moscow, Russia in a Jewish family and launched his career as an actor in 2012. Since then he had accomplished more than 50 projects, including movies, TV series, the most of which has been rewarded at film contests or collected impressive box-offices. Since 2018 he has started to write and direct his own short movies. The first of them, On the edge, had taken part at "Kinotavr" short movies contest. Next two were made as music videos for remarkable and popular Russian artists called Buerak and Alyona Shvetz. In 2021 Sam enrolled to "Industry" - an eminent and prestigious Russian film school -- as a show-runner.
During the study he made two more short movies, but since the war got started in February 2022 he was forced to flee his country and presently he lives with his wife in Barcelona, Spain.
Sam speaks Russian and English languages as a native speaker and can also speak Spanish fluently. Besides Russian citizenship he also has Israeli one as a Jewish.
Awards: The prize in the nomination "Hope" at the IX Russian Open Film Festival "Male Role" named after I. Mozzhukhin in Penza for his role in the film "Good Boy" (2016).
Bronze statuette "The Ship" in the nomination "Best Boy Actor" at the XXI International Film Festival "Scarlet Sails" in Artek for his role in the film "Private Pioneer" (2013).
Diploma for the best acting duet with Egor Klinaev in the film "Private Pioneer" at the XVII Festival of Visual Arts in the All-Russian Children's Center "Orlyonok" (2013).
Winner in the nomination "Best Children's Actor" at the XXIII International Film Festival "Scarlet Sails" in Artek for his role in the film "Private Pioneer 2" (2015).
Reviewer Anton Dolin about acting in the film "Ghost": "Semyon Treskunov not only copes with a difficult role, but "steals the show from Bondarchuk himself", and the young actor has a "big bright future"."
