Brian Bloom and Scott Bloom's younger brother Mike are accomplished musician/composers who recorded and toured with the highly successful alt/rock group Rilo Kiley.

Brian became the youngest winner of a Daytime Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Young Leading Man during the 1984-1985 season for his performance in the soap opera As The World Turns. Additional acknowledgements of Bloom's work include being nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award as Outstanding Young Leading Man in 1985-1986 and 1986-1987. He was also nominated as Best Young Actor in a Daytime or Nighttime Series by the Sixth Annual Youth In Films Awards in 1984.

Brian's career started with notable Director Sergio Leone in Once Upon a Time in America (1984) playing the younger version of gangster Patsy Goldberg. He has appeared with his brother Scott in The Stuff (1985) and appeared in such TV series as 21 Jump Street (1989), Matlock and Touched by an Angel (1995).

He has worked with several of the WB's series Charmed (1998), Walls of Glass (1985), Brian Krause in the 1994 Bandit series of television movies, and three movies with friend Alyssa Milano: Dance 'Til Dawn (1988), Crash Course (1988) and Confessions of a Sorority Girl (1994).

At his home in the Hollywood Hills, Bloom has an extensive collection of rare and first edition books. His lifelong passion is writing, composing and recording at his in-home studio. Brian also designs and builds furniture, practices and studies Eastern philosophy, enjoys cooking and listening to a wide variety of music.
