His sound editing credits also include Lucas (1986), Spaceballs (1987), Die Hard (1988) and Action Jackson (1988).

Before that, as a child and teenager he had a fairly successful career in Hollywood, next door to his adopted town of Los Angeles (Ronald was born in New Zealand). His childhood acting credits include: Dangerous Holiday (1937), Thoroughbreds Don't Cry (1937) with Mickey Rooney, They Made Me a Criminal (1939) with John Garfield, Tower of London (1939 - with Basil Rathbone, Boris Karloff and Vincent Price), and a whole bunch of the very successful Five Little Pepper movies (1939-1940).

Ronald's original stage name was "Ra Hould" and is credited under that name in some very early films. Served in U.S. Army during World War II and died in Woodland Hills, CA in 1992.
