Spencer Treat Clark first stepped on stage as a child at Holy Cross High School in Waterbury Connecticut to support his teenage cousin, James, who had one of the lead roles in the school's production of "Annie Get Your Gun".

Between acting gigs he runs cross-country and plays hockey. During the filming of Gladiator (2000) he kept a journal of his days on set. He says his parents told him to keep a journal during all movies he makes. Best known (so far) for his haunting role in M. Night Shyamalan's Unbreakable (2000). He has worked along side Sean Penn, Tim Robbins and Kevin Bacon in Mystic River (2003), and with other Hollywod heavyweights like Russell Crowe and Joaquin Phoenix.

Despite having to take time off from school on numerous occasions in order to continue acting professionally in film and television, Spencer received his Bachelor's Degree from Columbia in the spring of 2010. His older sister, Eliza Clark, is a successful playwright and screenwriter. Spencer now predominantly resides in Los Angeles and enjoys traveling, playing guitar, mountain biking, hockey and fly fishing.
