Robert Dancs was born in 2002 in Sarnico, Lombardy, Italy. and has Romanian origins and made some appearances as a model. Robert accompanied his sister to the Sole a Catinelle audition in Rome after hearing that Director Zalone was casting a new film. He was immediately selected among the 80 available actors who showed up for the auudition.
In Sole a Catinelle Robert Dancs plays Nicolò, the son of Checco Zalone. He won the hearts of many film viewers with a smile that seemed to light up the whole screen, and helped break box office records, becoming one of the most successful films in Italy. Robert received the 2014 Explosive Talent Award for his unscripted improv acting style as Nicolo.
After Sole a Catinelle he starred in the TV series Fuoriclasse 3. Robert is an avid Juventus fan, a Football Club based in Turin, Piedmont, Italy, Now a teenager, he said has absolutely has no interest in acting. His passion is in flying and in 2016 he enrolled at the Locatelli Aeronautical Institute which is an Aeronautical High School in Bergamo.
After its success in 2014 he declared at the Giffoni Film Festival: “I was happy and I didn't expect to be chosen and for the film or for it to have this success. The director told me to be myself and from the experience with Checco Zalone I learned to be humble, he's a good person and he doesn't get carried away, like the character he plays in the movies”.
