Born in 1951 Paris, Didier Haudepin's career has moved through four-decades; first as an actor, then producer, director and screenwriter.
After his first substantial role in Peter Brook's Moderato Cantabile (1960) he became known for several child and pre-adolescent roles, most particular in Jean Delannoy's Les Amitiés Particulières (This Special Friendshp) (1964), in Cotolay (1966) and still youthful enough to play a 15-year-old in Promise at Dawn (1970).
One of Didier's most memorable roles is in the theater where he played the child to La Ville dont le prince est un enfant d'Henry de Montherlant (1967). The end of the 60's found Didier at Henri-Iv college in Paris. His studies in French literature saw him as producer, screenwriter bringing French classics to the screen Most beautiful Age (1995) and Prophets (2006). Currently he has his own production company in Paris.
