No money, or membership, is required until you place your first order.

Rental Club Membership:

Rental Membership is limited to the United States only.

Members are required to sign a standard rental contract regarding the care and return of DVD's - which will be included in your first order.

To become a member, Register Here to use the website and place 2-movies in the shopping cart for your first order (2 movies only!). You will then be charged a **one-time membership fee of: $19.95 (after your first order you may rent as many movies as you want per order)

**This fee includes your first order of 2 DVD's and free outgoing postage. After this, DVD's are $3-$10 each, plus shipping and handling - postage costs for shipping both ways on all rentals is paid for by the member (click here for information on shipping and handling rates).

NOTE: If you make a purchase from us our membership fee is waived - you will not be charged the membership fee when you decide to start renting from us.

California residents will have sales tax included on all sales and rentals.

Renting:

New members can rent no more or less than 2 DVD's for their first order; certain titles are excluded for new members.

After your first order you may rent up to 12 DVD's/videos per order. Minimum rental is 2 DVD's.

Return Time:

You have 3 weeks to receive, watch and return your DVDs.. Purchase rentals of 7 or more for FREE out going postage (return postage will still be your responsibility).
Please inform CVMC if you plan to keep the films for more than the allowed time period. Extentions are free, you just need to email or call us!

Current Specials:

Every week we offer a FREE movie for rent (see selection on our Home Page) -- to take advantage of our FREE DVD you just need to rent 2-movies or more, and add the FREE DVD to the shopping cart. (The price will be deducted from your order when your card is charged.)

Preferred Member Status:

New members are slowly integrated into Preferred Member status. How quickly you move to Preferred status will depend on your rental history - all members that become "Preferred" have an excellent track record of returning DVD.

If your account is in good standing, you will start moving up to phase #1, #2, then Preferred Member after about 3 rentals. Preferred member benefits include: first selection on new films, & 500 additional movie titles to select from.

Additional Benefits for Preferred Members:

1.) 10% discount on Non-Rental purchases (sale movies are not included, and not subject a 10% discount)
2.) If you want to purchase a Non-Sale film you just rented, the rental price will be deducted from the full purchase price. (please ask for this discount by making a note in the "comment box" of the shop cart)

Payment:

Payment must be in the form of Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express. If you do not have a credit card, you can pay in advance via check or money order. CVMC will accept personal checks, but please allow an extra 5 days for them to clear. All checks must be made out to CVMC.

Ordering:

To place a rental order, you must have an account with CVMC. You can set up your account via this web site or phone. If you wish to call, the number is +1 (626) 789-6479. Once your account has been set up, you can place orders via this web site, phone or e-mail. Regardless of the route, please have several alternative titles available, for even if the film is marked as "In," someone may have ordered it earlier that same day.

Cut-Off Time for Orders & Office Hours:

If you want your order to be shipped the same day, or next business day, you must contact CVMC with the titles you wish to rent before 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time via this web site, e-mail or telephone (we only ship Monday thru Friday). Orders taken after 10:00 AM are shipped the following business day (Orders received late Friday, or over the weekend, are shipped on Monday).

Office hours are as follows: Mon.-Thu. 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Fri. 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; Sat. Closed.; Sun. Closed

Refunds:

The membership fee is non-refundable. If there is some sort of problem with the DVD, CVMC will gladly replace or exchange it for you. There are no refunds simply because you did not like a film.

Sell or Trade:

CVMC is always willing to consider buying films you might have. CVMC is mostly interested in rare films and will only consider those within its genre. If you have any such titles you wish to depart with, please submit our online trade form or Email us. CVMC often trades rentals for your films too!
