Ted Eccles began his entertainment career as a child actor appearing in dozens of movies and TV shows including, My Six Loves (1963), Cimmaron (1960), The Family Jewels (1965), The Lucy Show (1964 & 1965), The Beverly Hillbillies (1962 & 1967), Mr. Ed (1962), The Honkers (1972), The Munsters (1964), Lassie (1964 & 1969), My Three Sons (1967-1969), M.A.S.H. (1974), The Waltons (1974) and General Hospital (1974-1976).

He is best known by many school kids from My Side of the Mountain (1969), required reading for 6th graders and many teachers also showed the film in the classroom.

If you look closely you'll also see him as the young hitchhiker in In Cold Blook (1967).

In the 80's Eccles went to work behind the camera joining Paramount Pictures movie marketing team and then Walt Disney Pictures in the trailer department. In 1986 he founded a motion picture trailer company known as New Wave Productions, where he created ad campaigns for some of the biggest theatrical hits of the time.

In addition to his credits in feature film marketing Eccles has twenty years of experience producing television promos, specials and series including co-creating and producing The Surreal Gourmet co-producing the film Wag the Dog, and executive producing a range of Disney Network Specials, NBC TV specials, and cable network specials.

As a marketing executive his award winning ad campaigns include, Everybody Loves Raymond, Dick Tracy, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Sister Act, Pretty Woman, CSI, Deal or No Deal, The Practice and Modern Family. His work has won highest honors at the Chicago, New York and Houston Film Festivals, The Clio Award, The Belding Award, and four Hollywood Key Art Awards.

Ted is the Chief Media Consultant for the Atlantica Expeditions and runs Quark Entertainment and he and his wife Robin live in Pasadena California.
