His Father was of Italian American decent, his mother moved to Chicago from Belfast Northern Ireland. Beginning his acting career in commercials at age five, Trevor Morgan moved with his family from his Chicago hometown to Los Angeles in 1997, ready to make a go of a serious acting career.
Soon he's on Barney's Great Adventure and guest roles on such TV shows as Touched By an Angel (1997) and "Baywatch" (1997) and made his film acting debut in the little-seen comedy "Family Plan". Beginning in 1998, Morgan received the role of Scott Anspaugh, a child cancer patient on ER. The recurring role saw the young actor handling what would become many emotionally challenging roles in his career.
Morgan reached a wide audience tormenting Haley Joel Osment's in the acclaimed thriller The Sixth Sense (1999). Television & Disney came calling in In the Doghouse (1998) and Disney's Genius (1999). But it was after his work along side Mel Gibson in The Patriot (2000) that Morgan would receive many film offers... A Rumor of Angels (2000), Jurassic Park III (2001), a memorable role in the thriller The Glass House (2001) co-starring with Leelee Sobieski. Other projects include The Rookie (2002) where he played the young incarnation of Dennis Quaid's high school baseball coach tuned MLB.
Winner of an Independent Spirit Awards for his role in Mean Creek (2004) and Empire Falls (2005), Reno 911! (2005), The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio (2005), Off the Black (2005) and the film roles continue today. Trevor lives in Orange County California with 2 half-brothers and a half-sister.
