Appearances
Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick was born in New York City, and moved with his family to East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, where he was raised. His parents are James Hugh Fitzpatrick, an actor and model, and his mother Marty Davey is also an actress. His parents are both approximately three quarters Irish heritage. The rest of Seamus' ancestry is mostly English, with some Scottish and Dutch. He began acting in commercials for Marriott and Flintstone vitamins, and briefly appeared in an episode of the television series Sex and the City (2003).
He has worked with big Hollywood stars such as Bruce Willis, Tilda Swinton & Bill Murray in Moonrise Kingdom (2012). In 2006 he played Damien in the Omen along side Liev Schreiber. During the filming of The Omen, he was never told that his character was supposed to be the son of the Devil; co-star Julia Stiles has commented that it was because the filmmakers thought at eight "he was too young to understand it".
Seamus spent two months in Prague, Czech Republic when filming The Omen (2006). When he auditioned, director John Moore liked him immediately! He had to sit on a swing with a terrifying dog on the ground next to him (for the audition). The expression on his face was perfect. The studio used the tape of Seamus' audition for the teaser trailer.
An only child, Seamus is a Vegan, enjoys playing soccer, is a certified SCUBA diver, having made his first open water dive in St. Lucia, skate boards, snow boards/skiis, and will perform with his school, JTL, at the World Choir Games 2012 in Cincinnati.
Seamus has been busy, other works include Will Winslow on Guiding Light (2007-2008) before the series' cancellation, and worked with Robert De Niro in Everybody's Fine (2009). He has appeared in such television series as Law and Order (2006), Sex and the City (2003), Damages (2010), The Black Donnellys (2007), and Person of Interest (2011). He also played the 14-year-old son of Jesse (played by Ethan Hawke) in the feature film Before Midnight (2013).
Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick recently acted, along with his parents, in a local short film The Lottery, an eleven-minute adaptation of Shirley Jackson's short story.
