Description
Thirteen-year-old Nick (Christian Tafdrup) runs away from his troubled home and quickly finds himself in a relationship with Ralph, a professor of astronomy. The two share an interest in the stars as well as a romance, but Ralph chooses his girlfriend over the boy once she returns from vacation. Nick then hits the streets, becomes involved with a gang of violent street hustlers and thieves, falls in love with its only female member, Renee (Benedicte Madsen). Things get complicated once Ralph decides he wants Nick back and Renee becomes jealous. A well-done debut by director Carsten Sonder. If you like this one, don't miss Street Kid.
