Soon-to-turn-eleven Reine (Tomas Fryk) doesn't wish to grow up, and thinks puberty will make him a "swine," which is how he views the few men in his life. With his mother planning on being out of town while he is supposed to be at camp, the boy opts to ditch the bus, and stay home alone for the Summer. In an attempt to raise some money for food, he meets a number of women, all of whom he grows to feel a bit romantically attached to. When they reject him, for varying reasons, our young hero hits the road and spends some time with a few scoundrels.

Will a nasty ending find Reine before he can create peace with the adult world? Considered a kids' film in Sweden, this one is a unique exploration of a child's mind with a small dose of the avant-garde attached; think of a mix between Lakki and Tin Drum, The - Digitally Restored Version and you might get the idea. Directed by Kay Pollack.
