Description

Fourteen-year-old Lakki (Anders Borchgrevink) struggles with living with his alcoholic mother and forming some relationship with the father who walked out on him several years before. His parents seem incapable of change. However, they drive their son to spend time on the streets, experimenting with drugs. Yet mostly, Lakki escapes via his imagination and fantasizes he is growing wings that will grant him flight away from the harsh world surrounding him.

A mystical look at the confusion of adolescence. Well done by Anders and the boy who plays Lakki at roughly six years of age, the latter appearing in a lengthy flashback that explains the deterioration of his character's family - directed by Svend Wam. It's certainly worth a look!
